FAMILY RESOURCE PROGRAM

September 2020 • Update

New York Memory Center adult day services and onsite programming are temporarily closed. Staff members are working and available 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.  We are offering online programs on Zoom in music, poetry, and exercise. Please email Executive Director Josephine Brown for the dates and times of the programs, and she will send you a link to join. Ask about Caregiver Support groups too.

Stay safe and healthy — and we will hope to be back together before long.

Care and Support for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregivers

Caregiving services are united under the Family Resource Program at New York Memory Center. Caregiver programs are funded in party by a grant from the New York State Department of Health under the Alzheimer’s Caregiver Initiative, which was initiated to develop and test strategies and systems to address these needs of dementia caregivers.

The Family Resource Program offers educational and wellness programs for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s and related dementia disorders with services that include (click on links for dates and more information):
