Evening Respite
We hope to return to these extended hours before long:
The Center is open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. with services for persons with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. The early and later hours are especially for caregivers who work or need longer respite times on occasion. Caregivers are responsible for dropping off their loved one at the Center for the morning extended hours, but the Center will provide van transportation at the end of the day if the home is in our catchment area.

There is an additional fee for extended hour services and a special hourly rate for our 12-Hour Program
EVENING HOURS: Monday through Friday 2 pm – 7 pm.

Early memory loss and Memory Life Services programming is now available
each weekday from late afternoon into the evening. This gives caregivers a
chance to take time for themselves or catch up on errands.

The program includes:
-
Mediterranean diet dinner
-
Transportation from most Brooklyn neighborhoods
-
Socializing and peer support
-
Therapeutic activities including exercise, art, and music
-
Computer Cognitive Training
-
Worry-free respite time for caregivers to relax or do errands.
